We Provide best Treatment for our Patients

Welcome to Shepherd Hospital & Fertility Centre. We make every effort to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during your stay. We provide you with all the conveniences you would expect, including fresh linen, bath and hand towels. However, should you be staying with us for more than a day, it is advisable to bring essential personal items with you.

We provide all our patients with en suite facilities, a nurse call system, television and a refrigerator. Once admitted, you can keep in touch with family, friends and the office with the telephone provided in your room. If you need the use of a wi-fi connection, just ask and we will arrange this for you.
Our team of consultants and medical professionals are capable of dealing with a wide range of medical and surgical problems, whether you may be admitted as an emergency, or with multiple disorders, referred for investigation and diagnosis, or referred by other specialist services. Our Medical and Surgical teams are supported by our Intensive Care Unit, combining quality of critical care nursing with 24/7 access to Intensive Care specialists and support services.

At Shepherd Hospital & Fertility Centre, we are available to give advice on how to stay healthy and to assist you in your recovery if you become ill. Right to good quality healthcare and fair treatment

  1. You have the right to expect good quality in healthcare.
  2. You have the right to be treated in such way that your beliefs and privacy are respected and your dignity remains unoffended.

Right to access own medical records

  1. The patient must be briefed on her/his health unprompted.
  2. You have the right to refuse being given medical report.
  3. You have the right to ask for an interpreter in cases where a healthcare professional does not speak your language or you cannot be understood because of speech or sensory disorders.
  4. You have the right to examine your own medical information held in medical records. If you find the information faulty, you can request a correction.

Undersatanding

You have the right to know and understand:

  3. The risks of any test(s) or procedure(s).
  4. Alternatives to procedures and their risks.
